Functional Skills are a recognised qualification that enable learners to achieve the equivalent of a GCSE, supporting further academic learning, as well as career progression.

You must be 19+ and live in the Peterborough or Cambridgeshire area to qualify for our Government Funded Functional Skills courses. Please see below for more details on the eligibility criteria, which is based on postcode. We accept any ability, as long as you don’t already hold a grade C (or grade 4) at Maths and/or English; or aren’t already on another Government qualification.
