About this course

With at least three years’ experience of working in the accident repair sector of the automotive industry, this full route accreditation is for Paint Senior Technicians who wish to deepen their knowledge and understanding of the skills they already possess by demonstrating their capability of: applying a non-sanding (wet on wet) primer; rectifying minor damage, application and preparation of foundation materials, vehicle colour matching and carrying out a complete spot / rapid repair; as well as applying a 3 stage pearlescent finish.

Upon completion of this course, candidates will receive a certificate from the IMI that is valid for three years.

  • Spot / Rapid Repair on a Clear Over Base (AOM-222)

  • Application of 3 Stage Pearlescent Finish (AOM-223)
