About this course

With at least two years’ experience of working in the accident repair sector of the automotive industry, this full route accreditation is for Paint Technicians wishing to demonstrate their capability of: preparing high build primers to accept top coats; applying seam sealer to replicate original appearances and finishes; applying a non-sanding (wet on wet) primer; masking techniques using a range of materials; and matching and mixing vehicle colours and applying a clear over base finish.

Upon completion of this course, candidates will receive a certificate from the IMI that is valid for three years.
