We’re helping fix that — by offering FREE funded training in IMI-certified EV courses. Advance your skills in working with high-voltage systems. Learn how to remove, replace and repair key EV components safely and confidently.

  • These courses are open to anyone aged 19 or over, has the right to work in the UK and have a National Insurance Number and lives in the Peterborough, Cambridgeshire or Greater Lincolnshire area (certain postcodes apply). If you’re already employed as a vehicle technician, mechanic, or in a related role — you’re likely eligible. We’ll confirm everything with you once you register.

  • It is free! Providing you meet the eligibility criteria, the training is government-funded.

  • All courses are delivered in person at our fully equipped training centre in Peterborough. You’ll learn from qualified tutors in a supportive, hands-on environment.

  • Once we receive your form, a member of the team will get in touch to confirm your eligibility and place. We’ll answer any questions and make sure you’re ready to get started.

  • Each course runs one day per week over five weeks. You’ll get a mix of theory, practical sessions, and assessment time.

  • Absolutely! Many learners start with Level 2 and then progress to Level 3 or 4.

  • You’ll receive an IMI (Institute of the Motor Industry) Certification — a nationally recognised certificate that shows you’re trained and competent in Electric and Hybrid Vehicle technologies.

  • Just yourself and a willingness to learn! We provide all the tools, PPE, and course materials you’ll need.
